Haroon RASHID, PhD (Board member, Coordinator: Team Mentorship, Chair: Team website)

Haroon Rashid was born and raised in Pahloo Kulgam, Jammu & Kashmir. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Delhi and an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia. He was awarded the IDEX Fellowship to pursue a research-intensive Master’s program at the University of Paris-Saclay, where he also completed his Ph.D. at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), focusing on the electrocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at CEA Grenoble (SolHyCat team, Artero Research Group), where his work centers on the design of hybrid molecular systems for photo(electro)catalytic CO₂ reduction and hydrogen production.Beyond the lab, Haroon enjoys hiking and playing Cricket.
